Cooking Guide: Stuffed Lobster Tail

Oven-Baked Stuffed Lobster Tail (From Frozen)

Ingredients (for brushing/serving):

  • 1 frozen stuffed lobster tail

  • 1–2 tbsp melted butter (or olive oil)

  • Lemon wedges (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the lobster:

    • Take the stuffed lobster tail straight from the freezer.

    • Place it on a foil-lined baking sheet or shallow oven-safe dish.

    • If desired, brush the top lightly with melted butter or oil to keep it moist while baking.

  3. Bake:

    • Place in the oven (middle rack) and bake uncovered for 35 minutes.

    • No need to flip or cover — the stuffing should crisp slightly on top.

  4. Check doneness:

    • The lobster meat should be firm, white, and opaque.

    • Internal temperature should reach 140–145°F (60–63°C) in both the lobster and stuffing.

  5. Finish & serve:

    • Remove from oven and let rest for 2–3 minutes.

    • Serve with lemon wedges and extra melted butter on the side.

Storage and Consumption:

Keep the thawed or cooked lobster cake refrigerated at 40°F (4°C) and consume it within 2-3 days. Do not refreeze after thawing.
