Oven-Baked Stuffed Chilean Sea Bass (From Frozen)

Ingredients (for brushing/serving):

  • 1 frozen stuffed Chilean sea bass portion

  • 1–2 tbsp melted butter (or olive oil)

  • Lemon wedges (optional)

  • Fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or chives) for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the fish:

    • Remove the stuffed sea bass from packaging.

    • Place it on a foil-lined baking sheet or shallow baking dish.

    • Brush the top lightly with melted butter or oil to prevent drying.

  3. Bake:

    • Place in the oven (middle rack), uncovered, and bake for 35 minutes.

    • The stuffing should heat through while the fish turns opaque and flaky.

  4. Check doneness:

    • The fish should flake easily with a fork.

    • Internal temperature of both the fish and stuffing should reach 145°F (63°C).

  5. Serve:

    • Let rest for 2–3 minutes after baking.

    • Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs before serving.
