Cooking Guide: Maine Lobster Tails

Sourced from the cold, pristine waters of the North Atlantic, Maine lobster tails are celebrated for their exceptional sweetness and succulent meat. Their rich, buttery flavor and tender texture make them a sought-after delicacy in the culinary world. What distinguishes Maine Lobster Tails is the careful selection process and pristine habitat where they thrive. Each tail is meticulously hand-harvested and quickly frozen to preserve its natural freshness. Whether broiled, grilled, or baked, these lobster tails elevate any meal into a luxurious dining experience. Maine Lobster Tails are a symbol of premium seafood, offering an unparalleled taste of the ocean's finest, straight from the heart of New England.

Thawing Instructions

For the best results, we highly recommend slowly thawing Maine Lobster Tails in the refrigerator. Simply place the frozen tails in their original packaging or an airtight container in the refrigerator. Allow them to thaw for up to 24 hours.

Once thawed, Lobster Tails under refrigeration (40°F) should be consumed within 2-3 days.

Broiled

Preheat your broiler and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the top of your oven. Take your scissors and make a careful cut down the center of the top shell, exposing the lobster meat. If presentation matters, gently lift the meat out and rest it on the shell. Then, add a coat of olive oil or butter, and season with salt and pepper. Place the tails under the broiler for a brief 6-8 minutes, keeping an eye out until it reaches an internal temperature of 135-140ºF.

Grilled

For an unforgettable grilling experience, either split each lobster tail in half lengthwise or opt for the captivating center cut down the top shell. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the lobster tail(s) meat side up on the hot grill, brush it generously with olive oil or butter, and let it sizzle for 8-10 minutes until the internal temperature ascends to 135-140ºF.

Boiled

Experience lobster in its purest form with a timeless boiling method. Bring a generously salted pot of water to a boil. Submerge the lobster tails in the water and let them simmer for a modest 5-8 minutes, all while keeping an attentive eye on their internal temperature, which should reach a delightful 135-140ºF.
